Smoothie Recipes

This one is great to have with your morning breakfast. My kids love it and always ask for seconds. Very easy and quick to make. If post workout, you can add a scoop of your favorite protein powder. preferably vanilla flavor.

  • 3 Medjool dates. You can get these at Amazon or your local Mediterranean store.
  • 1 cup fresh Orange juice
  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberry
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple

Start the blender on low setting until everything get mixed and then turn on the high setting for about 45 seconds. Enjoy!

Smoothie Recipes

I bought a Vitamix and found a new love. This machine is for real. You can put anything in this thing and it will blend it. We have been using it multiple times per day making all kind of smoothies. So I decided to create a new section on my blog and call it WeeklyShakes and will try to share my new smoothies.

So here is the first one:

  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 Apple
  • 1 Banana
  • 1 Carrot
  •  1/2 cup crushed ice

I usually like to start the blender on low setting until everything get mixed and then put on high.

I wanted to post a photo but I drank the cup so fast, and that’s all I got. I will make sure to take a photo next time before drinking it 🙂
